Although she and Joe Jonas ended their romantic relationship last May, people are wondering if "Shut Up And Love Me" was originally Lovato's love song to Jonas.
According to Hollywood Life, it's lyrics seem to suggest exactly that.
"Shut up and love me/Cause you’ve already got me/I don’t need words/I need time in your arms,” sings Lovato.
Sounds like someone with a serious crush. And since it's an old song that was never released, it may have been written before they became a couple. In other words, it may have been Demi's way of telling Joe that she wanted to be more than friends.
