TAYLOR Swift and Selena Gomez are BFFs — but they don’t do double dates!
Selena says she and Taylor — who’s rumored to be romancing actor Jake Gyllenhaal – never get to out as a foursome with their respective boyfriends because they are never in relationships at the same time.
“We have yet to do that and it really bothers us. It does,” Selena said.
“It’s so funny. It’s either one way or the other. She’ll have someone or I won’t or I will and she won’t. We’re never quite there.”
But she insisted that despite their fame, she still manages to do normal things with Taylor.
“We go to the movies, go get yogurt, go to dinner, hang out and go to the mall,” she said.
“It doesn’t really stop us. We’re very appreciative of our fans and will stop and take pictures.”
Swift, 20, has previously spoken about her friendship with 18-year-old Gomez.
“I’ll ask her for advice too. It’s a great friendship,” she said.
“We talked for two hours on the phone last night because we haven’t been able to talk for like, two weeks.
“We’ve both been so busy so there was a lot of catching up. There was advice given and asked for on both of our ends. I think we both really value the fact that we can be honest with each other.
“I’d definitely say we have a sister relationship. I’ve never had a sister but I think if I did and I had this sweet, perfect younger sister, it would be Selena. I feel like she’s my age though, I forget she’s 18!”
