'Lovato was excited about her character's budding love life on the show'

In May, Demi Lovato called Joe Jonas' upcoming cameo on the Disney Channel's "Sonny With a Chance" "pretty cool." That was back when the two tourmates were dating, and long before Lovato dropped off the tour to seek medical treatment for "emotional and physical issues."

But soon fans can look back at happier times, when Jonas appears on the show's Christmas episode, set to air on November 28.



Stills from the set show Joe dressed in a suit, sitting next to Demi at a piano and trapped in a box like a doll. According to JustJared.com, the episode will be called "So Random Holiday Special." Jonas will reportedly play a musical guest on the show within the show, which will include the sketches "A Jonas for Christmas," "The 12 Days of Sickmas with Sicky Vicky," "Holiday Cooking with Roadkill McGill" and "Christmas with the Real Princesses of New Jersey."

Back in May, Lovato was excited about her character's budding love life on the show. "There's definitely more romance this season, finally, between Chad and Sonny," she said. "So you can see how that evolves with the cast of 'So Random,' how they react to Chad and Sonny's new flame."

Jonas, meanwhile, will also make a cameo on "90210," where he will also play himself. In the episode, airing November 8, Joe will go to a magazine party with wannabe pop star Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes). Apparently, he is her date for the night and will give her some plum advice on how to make it in the industry.
